Teacher’s evaluation is put on hold after a unanimous vote by the MI House

A new bill was accepted by the MI house that puts the supposed to be teachers’ evaluation on hold. One reason why it was put on hold is because they are working on a way to use the student test scores to make 50% of the educators’ scores.

A bill proposing an evaluation system for MI educators was approved by the House Committee

The House Committee agreed and approved the proposed evaluation system for teacher in MI. the evaluation system will be used across state – this is despite the possibility of losing $1bn in educational grants from the federal government.
